Hi, I'm Ivette and I love to paint.

"My paintings reflect something personal. I am drawn to landscapes, people and animals. I paint a wide variety of subjects in a realist style. In every painting I am striving to understand the laws of nature and how light works. My goal for every painting is to achieve a convincing sense of reality and break the constraints of the two dimensional surface."

My other passion is mountain biking where I draw a lot of inspiration. I love spending time outdoors and riding in the woods and valleys, taking in the beautiful surroundings.

I live and work in a small town between London and Brighton with my huband who is very supportive and encouraging of my art as well as my most valued critique. We have raised 2 boys who come often to spend time with us.
